FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ashur Satellite TV reaching America and Canada, Live from Baghdad
Ashur Satellite TV (AST) of Baghdad will start live broadcasting in America and Canada
tomorrow, Sunday November 15, 2009 at 8:00 pm EDT (Eastern Standard Time).
Ashur Satellite TV’s excellent cultural, national, and educational programs will help strengthen
the ties between the indigenous people of Bet Nahrain in Diaspora and in the homeland to serve
the best interests of our Nation. With local Ashur TV broadcasting in America in the past few
years, watching the channel live from Baghdad was always a dream, a dream that will come true
this Sunday. AST will finally reach thousands of homes in North America to show our people’s
basic needs and issues that have been neglected by almost everyone. AST will be an exceptional
medium to broadcast the truth in many languages so that our people’s dignity is restored and
their true challenges are unveiled.
The generous financial sacrifices and the moral encouragement of Ashur Satellite TV’s
supporters, members, and board of directors made this noble project possible. The AST Board of
Directors and Officers are asking all their viewers to show their financial and moral support to
sustain this worthy mission for the benefit of our Nation. You will be proud for giving our people
an opportunity (they deserve) to broadcast their suppressed voice abroad.
This channel will broadcast on the coordinates listed below through the Free-to-air satellite dish
(International). For your donations and/or any questions, please visit our website at
www.ashurtv.org.
